中國大黃
又稱“土耳其大黃”、“掌葉大黃”、或“大黃”，中草藥方劑已經使用該藥材數千年。2200年前的《神農本草經》就有大黃使用的最早文字記載。生物分類學之父卡爾·林奈（Carolus Linnaeus）在1759年賦予其拉丁文名稱；1762年左右，大黃被引進英國植物園。
